For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved creating things. After retiring early in 2022 following a successful career in Corporate America, I finally had time to slow down, explore, and rediscover the creative side of myself. That’s when I found watercolor—and quickly fell in love with the beautiful, unpredictable way water and color work together.

What began as something I enjoyed creating for myself soon became something I wanted to share with others. I love taking a meaningful place, a favorite vacation, a beloved pet, a special memory, or even an everyday moment and turning it into a one-of-a-kind piece of art. For me, watercolor is about more than painting a picture—it’s about capturing something meaningful that brings back a memory, makes someone smile, or adds warmth and personality to their home.

That is the heart behind White Barn Watercolor. Every piece is handcrafted with care and a little bit of my heart in every brushstroke. I love knowing that something I create can become part of someone else’s story, whether it’s displayed in their home, given as a gift, or treasured as a keepsake. To me, there’s something magical about water and color in motion and the way it can transform a simple idea into something uniquely yours.
